Sara Claveau

Registered Veterinary Technician

I graduated from the Agricultural College's Animal Health Technology Program in 2002. I had always wanted to work with animals and once I found out more about the life of an RVT, I was hooked.

I joined Westwood Hills in 2002, the year I graduated. I was looking for a progressive, forward thinking hospital that treated their patients with compassion and Westwood fit that description perfectly! Nursing care and behaviour are two of my main interests.

I love being able to help animals feel better and witness the bond between owner and pet. Plus, all my co-workers make it pretty easy to come to work each day. We are much like a family here at Westwood. There are many things about Westwood I love but it would have to be the patients and their people.

Fun fact about me I enjoy crafting Gingerbread houses each year. My first pet was a black and white tuxedo cat named Simon. I currently live with a Springer Spaniel named Alex; a Himalayan cat, Chloe and a DSH named Belly Button (thanks to my daughter) and two lovely Budgies, Elliot and Kenzie.
