Microchipping a Dog

A microchip is a permanent piece of identification that cannot be lost like a collar or tag.

A microchip is a permanent piece of identification that cannot be lost like a collar or tag.

How does a microchip work and is it safe?

Microchips are safe and effective. They are a digital chip implanted under the skin between the shoulder blades.

Microchips store a specifically designated number unique to your pet. The microchip can be read via a hand held scanner standard in most Veterinary Clinics/Shelters. Scanners allow clinics/shelters to access the personal information you provide at the time of implant. This enables lost pets to be reunited with their families.

How much does it cost to microchip a dog?
