With temperatures starting to drop and snow starting to fall we need to make sure our dogs are still being active but also keeping warm. Here are some ways to achieve this!
Jacket
You would think having fur coats they would be able to stay warm, but they still get cold just like you and I during these winter months! Did you know you can actually buy jackets for your dogs? Some may think this is silly, but it’s a great way to keep your pooch warm during those colder winter walks. You can find jackets at any local pet store or shop, and I promise your pup will appreciate it!
Booties
Booties are boots for your pooch! When the ground is icy, or snow-covered it can be very cold on their paws, as well the salt that is on the ground to keep us safe when walking/driving can actually be very uncomfortable/damaging to paws, this is why booties are a great idea – their waterproof material keeps those paws safe, warm and looking stylish.
Cuddles
Most important of all make sure to give your pooch some very warm cuddles when getting home from that outdoor activity!
