Dr. Meaghan O’Leary, DVM

Veterinarian

I chose the veterinary field because from a very young age I had a passion for helping animals of all kinds. I have always loved to learn and grow in this passion, and so a career in veterinary medicine is something that would allow me to spend my days with animals, help others, and constantly be learning! For my studies, I attended AVC in PEI and graduated in 2018.

The area of veterinary medicine that interests me the most is preventative medicine and teaching pet parents the best ways to keep their furry family members healthy. I also enjoy building relationships with people and being there for their pets while they grow.

What I love the most about my job is that I get to spend my days with like minded people, supporting one another and pets/owners through the difficult times, and the reward of celebrating together when a life is saved. I love teaching others what I have been lucky enough to learn.

Some fun facts about myself are that I have a very large and mixed family, I ride a motorcycle, and I love to bake cupcakes and cakes!
