Allie Roach

Client Care Specialist
I started my career as a chef and a mechanical engineering technologist, where I found myself working at a bed and breakfast that allowed dogs. One day, they were short staffed and asked if I would help with the dogs, I was elated! From there, I started my life working with pets. I worked in a doggy daycare before working at an animal shelter for nine years before coming to the veterinary field. After maternity leave, I was looking for a new clinic to work at. I live nearby and love the small town feel of Eastern Shore Veterinary Hospital. I have now been with Eastern Shore since February 2017. An area of the veterinary industry that interests me is senior pets, the older the better. My favourite thing about the clinic is that we are a small staff and that we are very close and truly enjoy working with each other. We make the best out of a tough job and try to laugh whenever we can. I have four cats: Pwinsays, Lil, Grannie and Ed and will be adding a dog to the family soon. Three of the cats are adopted from different shelters, the fourth was found as a kitten with her three siblings and I kept them all. Unfortunately, her siblings have all passed now.
