I retired after 37 years working with the government and decided to do something entirely different. I was fortunate to be successful in getting a part-time job, which I wanted to be located in my community, doing something that I knew I would enjoy. I love animals and welcomed the opportunity to help. In September 2015, I joined the clinic. In my position, I am given the opportunity to make the visit a happy experience, for both the owner and pet. What I love most about my job is dealing with the pets that come to the clinic, they always put a smile on my face and make my day.

My favourite thing about the clinic is the people, they are so committed to the pets that walk through the door and treat the clients with respect and tender care. I have worked with many during the years and can honestly say that this is the best group I have worked with, as we all have the same goal - taking care of pets. Fun fact about me is that I have a warped sense of humor. We always had cats growing up and their names were always Pupie (my mother). When I got married, I got a dog whose name was Bullet.
