X-ray Services

At Eastern Shore Veterinary Hospital, we have modern digital x-ray technology that helps us quickly evaluate and diagnose many conditions. This has helped us decrease the amount of radiation exposure for both the staff and the pet and allows us to send images to Board Certified Radiologists.

How do you use x-ray and radiology services at your clinic?

We use digital radiology to help us evaluate cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, reproductive, musculoskeletal and urinary systems. Our trained staff use is able to take great quality images in minutes and the Doctor will be able to show you the high-quality x-ray on an iPad in the exam room right then and there! Our on-site modern equipment helps us diagnose many disorders quickly.

How do you prepare your dog for their x-ray appointment?

We will let you know before your appointment if there are any special considerations you need to take such as fasting your pet.
