Dr. Jessica O’Keefe, DVM

Veterinarian

Originally from Halifax, I have been living all over the Maritimes. I recently moved to Dartmouth from Sydney Cape Breton. I’ve always loved animals, and after reading all of James Herriot’s books as a child decided to be a vet! I attended UPEI for my bachelor of Science degree before attending the Atlantic Veterinary College. I graduated in 2011.

I have a special interest in feline medicine and ultrasound. I also love the variety and challenges that come with the role and having hands-on experience from start to finish on a case. In this field, there is always an opportunity to learn new things!

In my spare time, I enjoy quilting and embroidery. I also love nature and hiking.
