Harbour Cities Veterinary Hospital has been a respected institution in Dartmouth, NS for several decades. The practice was founded in 1971 and has been growing continuously, moving to its present location in 1985. In 2008, the hospital underwent extensive renovations and is now a full-service veterinary hospital.
Our team is proud to have been directly involved with assisting Greyhound Pets of Atlantic Canada in bringing thousands of greyhounds off the racetracks and into loving, forever homes. Our goal of improving the lives of all animals has also led us to support and work with the local charity group ElderDog. We are proud to live in Dartmouth and embrace the friendliness of our people and our strong sense of community.
Fun Fact: Dartmouth is famously known as the “City of Lakes” as it is home to a total of 23 lakes of various sizes.
