Kayla was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to help animals the best she could, so in 2020 she graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Eastern College. Kayla is a pet parent to four kitties (Missy, Minnie, Khaleesi & Cassie), two dogs (Diamond & Mocha), two rabbits (Thumper & Bambi), and 5 budgie birds. Outside of work Kayla enjoys spending time with her family & friends, watching movies, painting, and cuddling her fur family.
