Janis Wall

I am a new veterinary technician that found my way to Westwood Hills during my work placement at Maritime Business College in late 2017. I grew up in Cape Breton, but have been calling Halifax my home for over 10 years. After completing university, I realized that I wanted to change career paths and do what made me happy-- working with animals. I always knew I wanted to work with animals, but it was not until recently that I discovered the role of the veterinary technician and got to learn just how great the job is. I have a growing interest in animal behaviour, and I am more than happy to be part of, and learn from, the Westwood Hills team!

I currently share my home with two orange cats, Pekoe and Prim, as well as one very demanding beagle/valley bulldog mix, Smokey.
