Vaccines are important in the prevention of contagious deceases.

Does my indoor cat need to be vaccinated?

Unintendedly, they could be exposed to a disease.

What vaccines are required for cats?

  1. Feline Distemper (FVRCP)
      • FVR – Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis
      • C – Calici virus
      • P – Panleukopenia
  2. Feline Leukemia
  3. Rabies

How often does my adult cat need vaccination?

FVRCP and Rabies are every 3 years and feline leukemia is yearly.

Are there any risk associated with vaccines?


As with any injection, there can be mild reactions that can occur such as lethargy, fever, possible vomiting or gastrointestinal upset. Please call the clinic if you see any of these signs.

When do kittens get their first vaccines?

Kittens first FVRCP vaccine should be at 8 weeks.

How often do my kittens need vaccines?

Kitten vaccines at 8, 12 and 16 weeks.
