Tips for Helping Your Cat into Their Carrier!

It’s very important that your cats come in for an annual exam. However, a trip to the veterinary office is often stressful and we often skip them as a result.

Here are some tips for helping your cat feel comfortable getting into their carrier:

  • Leave the carrier out regularly in a familiar and desirable spot.
  • Put a blanket in the carrier that smells like home.
  • Leave the door open so they are comfortable with going in and out.
  • Make the carrier a playful place by adding a toy or a treat for them to discover.
