It’s very important that your cats come in for an annual exam. However, a trip to the veterinary office is often stressful and we often skip them as a result.
Here are some tips for helping your cat feel comfortable getting into their carrier:
- Leave the carrier out regularly in a familiar and desirable spot.
- Put a blanket in the carrier that smells like home.
- Leave the door open so they are comfortable with going in and out.
- Make the carrier a playful place by adding a toy or a treat for them to discover.
