Halifax Chamber of Commerce Business Awards

We are delighted to announce that PetFocus has been nominated for a Halifax Chamber of Commerce Business Award in the New Business Category.  Here is a photo of the entire group of nominees from all categories – check out that guy in the upper right in the beige shirt… yes, it’s our President, Dr. Ron Abrahams.   We are so proud that our nomination acknowledged the collaboration among our 26 veterinarians – it spoke of the “economies of knowledge” that are possible with such collaboration – that is, the benefits of shared knowledge about pet health among these talented professionals.  It also recognized the unique model, focused on pet care excellence, that the partners are creating and the emphasis on community service and public education.  The Awards are presented in late January – we are excited to look forward to that event.
